This is a collage painting created for the Memories exhibit for Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oakbrook, Illinois. It is a collage on canvas, measuring 18 X 24. The Midwest Collage Society of which I am President had over 90 pieces of art on exhibit for two months. Today was the closing reception. I was delighted to have received an Honorable Mention Award. The judge's comments: "I love the writing against the defined circles, there is a balance of what we 'say' speaks to the universe."
This is the spot to find out my latest news in artmaking. I will be describing my processes in artmaking which may include successes or frustrations. Random thoughts on creativity may sneak in.
